Join California Historical Society and its friends, partners, and neighbors for a day of crafts, presentation, music, and more, all inside our beautiful building and amongst the exhibitions!

Start the day at 11:00AM with crafts. Meet local non-profits and cultural institutions from around San Francisco and the Bay Area, hear Dueto Arte perform at 3:00PM, and short presentations throughout the day.

Visit our new exhibitions, Alexander Hamilton: Treasures from the New York Historical Society and Meanwhile out West: Colonizing California 1769-1821 for free all day!

  • Dueto Arte, is a mix of romantic amazing mexican Music from 1900 to 1950, the band is willing to rescue the old way of making music, where the lyrics were a tremendous way to describe the most profound passionate feelings , this music describes the historical way of living, having a big contrast between social classes. Dueto Arte thinks that Music and Art in general belong to people so there shouldn’t be a diference in the way people open their heart and mind to express themselves through Art.

    There will be photography in progress during this event. By registering for this event and attending you may be photographed in a crowd or individually. Please inform an event staff member if you do not want to be photographed.
